Frequently Asked Questions
The Brain Integration Technique (BIT) is a relaxing and non-invasive procedure. Clients typically lie comfortably on a massage table while I use precise muscle monitoring, acupressure touch, and gentle holds on the head to facilitate the brain's natural corrective process. Many clients report feeling very relaxed and often rejuvenated during a session.
The full Brain Integration protocol typically requires between 12-24 hours to complete. Sessions can range from 30 minutes for younger children to 2 hours for adults, and multiple sessions may be scheduled within a single day. During the initial consultation, an assessment will be conducted to estimate the total number of hours required. Following the completion of the BIT protocol, a follow-up appointment is recommended after 4 to 6 weeks. Additional check-ups will be recommended based on your individual needs.
Many clients report experiencing positive changes even after the first session. However, it's important to allow time for the brain to integrate the changes fully, and noticeable results may become more apparent after the entire protocol is completed.
No. BIT gently addresses stress within the brain's synaptic connections. As a BIT practitioner, I cannot change your inherent personality or make you into a different person. Furthermore, the technique is entirely non-invasive, utilizing no chemicals, devices, or physical manipulations, ensuring no harm to the brain.
Not at all. The perception of increased creativity in individuals with ADD/ADHD often stems from a greater accessibility to the brain's creative hemisphere compared to the logical hemisphere. Brain Integration aims to create more balanced access to both hemispheres. As a result, individuals with ADD/ADHD often find they become more focused and effective while retaining their creative capacity.
Many clients experience a range of positive outcomes, including improved sleep, a greater sense of calm, reduced stress, anxiety, and worry, enhanced academic and professional performance (sometimes quite significantly), increased mental clarity, a greater ease with tasks that were previously challenging, the development of new abilities, and even improvements in digestion and overall well-being. Please refer to the testimonials for personal accounts of these changes.
Clients have the flexibility to extend the treatment period for various reasons. While it is generally recommended to complete the main protocol within three months of starting, this serves as a guideline, and we can discuss a schedule that suits your needs.
Children of all ages can benefit from BIT, with school-aged children often experiencing particularly positive outcomes. Your presence in the treatment room is required with your child.
Currently, Brain Integration is not covered by insurance plans.
Appointments are typically scheduled in one of three ways: on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, in a more concentrated format over 3-4 consecutive days, or as longer sessions spread out over time. I will work with you to determine the most suitable scheduling approach.
